A few days ago, there was a video of famous Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on social media. The video showed him getting upset and hitting a student because a special bottle went missing from his collection. Later, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan explained about the missing bottle and publicly said sorry for hitting the student so hard.
Rabi Pirzada Speaks Out
Many people, including celebrities, were sad and shocked after seeing Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's behavior in the video. Recently, Rabi Pirzada, who used to be a singer and is now known for her calligraphy, shared her thoughts on the incident in a video.
Rabi Pirzada initially didn't want to talk about it but felt she needed to share her feelings. She talked about how big singers like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan often hire students for free or very little money, promising to teach them music in return. She highlighted the big difference between the huge amounts singers get for events and the small pay the students receive.
Rabi Pirzada also pointed out that the issue goes beyond Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and affects many lesser-known musicians who face similar treatment. She mentioned musicians from the past who were dedicated to their art and contrasted that with the focus on money in the current music industry.
