Rahat’s Son, Shahzaman, Debuts with a New Song for Bismil
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan passed away 26 years ago, but his fans still miss him deeply. While his nephew, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, has also become a famous singer, Nusrat’s unique voice remains irreplaceable.
A few months ago, a video of Rahat’s son, Shahzaman, went viral as viewers noticed his voice bears a striking resemblance to Nusrat’s.
Now, a new chapter in the Khan family’s musical legacy has begun as Shahzaman officially steps into the spotlight. He recently made his television debut with his first original soundtrack for the ARY Digital drama serial ‘Bismil.’
Shahzaman announced his debut song on Instagram, expressing his excitement: “I’m thrilled to announce that the Bismil OST is finally out now! So much hard work and dedication went into making this song. A big shoutout to the whole crew and everyone who made this possible. I invite you all to listen to ‘BISMIL OST’—link in bio.”
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has also sang hit songs and OST such as ‘Zaroori Tha,’ ‘O RePiya’, ‘Sajdaa; ‘Khaani’ and ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho.’
