Pakistani actor Farhan Qureshi recently shared a deeply disheartening experience from his early days in the entertainment industry, an incident at a television award show that left him feeling humiliated and forgotten.
In an emotional interview, Farhan spoke candidly about his early career struggles and a particular moment that made him confront the harsh realities of show business. “I was once invited to a TV award show during a time when I wasn’t getting any projects,” he recalled. “I arrived at the venue but, out of inexperience, I completely missed the red carpet. As an actor, that’s a big deal, but back then, I had no idea how important it was.”
He went on to share that when he told fellow actor Usman Khalid Butt about his mistake, Butt graciously offered to take him back to the red carpet. “But as soon as we got there, all the photographers surrounded Usman because he was a bigger star,” Farhan said. “Even when he told them, ‘No, take pictures of Farhan,’ they only took two quick shots of me before moving on.”
