Saba Qamar is once again turning her influence into impact, marking World Children’s Day, the acclaimed actor stepped out in a striking blue outfit, not as a fashion statement, but as a powerful reminder of the struggles Pakistani children continue to face.

Taking to social media, the star shared a heartfelt message, calling for collective responsibility.
“Every child deserves safety, education, health, and the freedom to shape their own future,” she wrote. “We must join hands to turn these ideals into reality.”

The actor’s gesture aligns with her ongoing work as UNICEF Pakistan’s National Ambassador, a role she embraced last year. Her appointment was announced on the International Day of the Girl Child, highlighting her commitment to standing up for girls’ rights and amplifying the issues many remain silent about.

Since stepping into this role, Qamar has spoken often about what she has witnessed during her travels. communities struggling with limited resources, young girls facing barriers to education, and families affected by generational inequity. These experiences, she has said, only strengthened her resolve to keep fighting for children’s rights; “I want every child in Pakistan to dream without fear and to have the chance to achieve those dreams,” she previously shared.

Her renewed message arrives at a critical moment. Pakistan continues to grapple with alarming challenges surrounding child protection. The country is home to millions of child brides , one of the highest numbers globally, and nearly half of adolescent girls face early pregnancies, putting their futures and health at significant risk. Experts warn that, without large-scale change, issues like child marriage could take decades to overcome.

UNICEF Pakistan’s Representative, Abdullah Fadil, praised Qamar’s steadfast advocacy, calling her a courageous voice for women and children. According to him, her influence strengthens the ongoing push for reform, awareness, and safeguarding Pakistan’s younger generation.
