In the video, reportedly captured on set by Saba Qamar herself, the actress is seen addressing Nauman Ijaz with the term “Bhagwan.”
Once the video made its way onto social media, it ignited a wave of public reactions and divided opinions online. Many viewers took to social platforms to voice their disapproval, interpreting the use of "Bhagwan" as an intentional reference to the Hindu deity and finding it culturally insensitive. On the other hand, some supporters rallied in defense of Saba Qamar, explaining that “Bhagwan” can also be used as an honorific in South Asian languages, meaning “Respected Sir” or “Exalted One,” depending on the context. This interpretation, they argued, was intended as a mark of respect rather than as a religious reference.
