During his concert in Dubai, the renowned Bollywood singer Arijit Singh publicly apologized to Pakistani TV and film star Mahira Khan. Singh failed to recognize Khan in the front row, leading to his apology. He quickly rectified the situation by dedicating a song to Khan.
Singh announced to the audience, "I was trying to recognize this person, then remembered I had sung for her. Ladies and gentlemen, Mahira Khan is sitting right in front of me."
He added, "Think about it, I was singing her song ‘Zaalima,’ and it’s her song, and she was singing and standing, and I couldn’t recognize her. I am so sorry. Ma’am, gratitude and thank you so much.”
