Bushra Ansari Opens Up About Daughter’s Painful Marriage, Alleges Ex Son-in-Law Manipulated Multiple Women
Pakistani entertainment icon Bushra Ansari has once again spoken about one of the most difficult chapters of her family’s life, making emotional allegations against her former son-in-law during a recent vlog. The veteran actress, known for balancing an illustrious career with remarkable resilience in her personal life, shared her thoughts on deception, failed marriages, and the emotional scars left behind by betrayal.
She has a career spanning several decades, Bushra Ansari has earned immense respect for her memorable performances in dramas such as Aangan Terha, Badlon Per Basaira, Barat, Bilqees Kaur, Pardes, Tere Bin, Very Filmy, Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, and most recently Shaidai. Beyond the spotlight, she is also a devoted mother to daughters Nariman Ansari and Meera Ansari, both of whom have experienced difficult divorces before rebuilding their lives.
During her vlog, Bushra revisited the painful separation of her elder daughter, Nariman Ansari, alleging that her former husband was unfaithful during their marriage. According to the actress, the relationship ended after years of emotional hardship. She claimed that he eventually walked away from the marriage, distanced himself from his children, and allegedly took away family assets before moving on with his own life.
Speaking at length, Bushra did not hold back while describing what she believes are the traits of men who manipulate others through appearances rather than character. She said she has encountered highly educated men who present themselves as polite, sophisticated, and articulate, but whose true personalities remain hidden behind carefully crafted behavior. According to her, such individuals often have no genuine reason for ending their marriages and instead pursue relationships driven by personal or financial gain.
She further alleged that her former son-in-law has now remarried and claimed that his new wife is a highly educated woman. Bushra expressed disbelief that, despite receiving warnings from others, the woman still chose to marry him. She suggested that the new marriage appears to follow a familiar pattern, alleging that the woman is prepared to support him financially and sacrifice her own well-being for the relationship.
Continuing her remarks, Bushra described her former son-in-law as someone who wins people’s trust through soft-spoken manners and an impressive public image. She claimed this was the same approach that, in her opinion, had once misled her daughter and feared that another woman had now become his latest target.
Reflecting on how dangerous toxic relationships can become, the actress also referred to a widely discussed domestic violence case involving the son of a journalist, saying such incidents serve as a reminder that abusive personalities can hide behind respectable appearances. She concluded by expressing gratitude that her daughter emerged from the marriage safely and has since found happiness after moving forward with her life.

Sanam Jung questions Karachi’s e-challan system after six traffic fines
Pakistani actor and television host Sanam Jung says she received six traffic e-challans within a month of returning to Pakistan, claiming that several were issued for violations she did not commit.
In an Instagram video, Sanam said the repeated fines had frustrated her family, particularly her father. She accepted responsibility for the first challan, which was issued for using a mobile phone while driving.
However, she disputed some of the later fines, including one for allegedly not wearing a seat belt. Sanam said fastening a seat belt had become a regular habit during her time abroad and insisted that she never begins driving without it.
Questioning the accuracy of the system, she expressed concern over being penalised for offences she says did not occur.

Tipu Sharif laments Karachi’s disappearing trees and shrinking green spaces
Actor Tipu Sharif has urged Karachi residents to plant more trees as rapid development continues to shrink the city’s green spaces.
Sharing an Instagram video of himself distributing plantation supplies, Sharif encouraged people to take part in tree-planting drives. He remarked that many graveyards now appear greener than residential areas and called for living spaces to be made equally green.
The actor warned that Karachi is losing trees at an alarming rate, leading to hotter streets, poorer air quality, less shade and fewer birds.
Referring to the monsoon season, Sharif said it presented the ideal opportunity to increase the city’s greenery. “The monsoon season is starting in Karachi. There’s no better time to start planting trees. I request you guys to fill Karachi’s roads, footpaths, and alleys. Please plant trees everywhere and increase greenery,” he said.
Highlighting the city’s rapid construction and property developments, the actor warned that continued deforestation could lead to serious environmental and health concerns. “In Karachi, there is not even two per cent of trees left and there’s construction and development happening. After a few years, we won’t even be able to breathe,” he stated.
Regarding his own efforts to combat the issue, Sharif shared that he had been distributing agricultural material across different parts of the city. “Today I am at the forestry nursery, taking 200 peepal trees to be planted in different areas, cemeteries, and places where greenery is lacking,” he said.
“Just think, people who have already passed away have greener surroundings in these cemeteries, while people living today don’t have clean air to breathe. Why is this?” the actor questioned.
Concluding his message, Sharif wrote, “Our one simple goal is to leave behind shade for people we’ll probably never meet. A tree planted today is a gift to future generations. Let’s stop turning Karachi into a concrete jungle and start bringing life back, one tree at a time.”
Sharif is known for his performances in dramas including Tapish, Humrahi, and Sitaron Se Agay. Along with advocating for environmental conservation, the actor also runs an advocacy page on Instagram addressing issues regarding animal abuse and sharing content about distributing food among the homeless.
