The Dar-e-Nijaat actor turned heads in a dramatic black ensemble, leaving viewers torn between their hatred for Zamil and their admiration for the man playing him.

Nameer Khan may have given viewers plenty of reasons to despise Zamil in Dar-e-Nijaat, but his latest appearance on the runway has reminded everyone that separating an actor from his character is sometimes easier said than done.

The actor walked as the showstopper for Edenrobe Ceremonial on Day 4, the grand finale of LAAM Fashion Week Season 2 in Lahore. Dressed in a striking velvet formal outfit featuring a long black cloak and a statement belt, Nameer brought a commanding presence to the runway. However, it was not just his fashion choice that caught everyone's attention. His appearance quickly became a talking point on social media, where fans couldn't stop gushing over his looks.

Much of the excitement stemmed from the contrast between Nameer's real-life charm and the rather questionable behaviour of his character in the hit drama. While Zamil has earned considerable criticism for the way he treated Zaryab, viewers seemed more than willing to put their grievances aside when Nameer stepped onto the runway.

One Indian Instagram account joined the conversation by sharing the actor's runway video with the caption, "Stop spreading negativity about Zamil." The account also questioned those who believed the character was being unfairly criticised, writing, "Who was saying Zamil is being defamed for nothing? See how good he looks."

Other reactions were equally entertaining, with one user imagining an alternate reality by commenting, "Zamil in a parallel universe." Another brought Zaryab's heartbreak into the conversation, quipping, "Zaryab crying in the corner."

Perhaps the most fitting summary came from a post that declared, "Zamil is looking zalim." The wordplay perfectly captured the actor's commanding appearance while nodding to the character who has become a source of frustration for viewers.

The comments continued, with one user describing the experience of disliking Zamil on screen but falling for Nameer on the runway: "Hating Zamil in drama but falling in love with him on runway." Another summed up the internet's apparent willingness to overlook his character's flaws by calling him "The only red flag Pakistanis are willing to tolerate."
