Ahad Raza Mir has surprised his fans with an unexpected announcement, revealing that he plans to take an entire year away from showbiz.
The actor shared the news during a recent Instagram Live session, where he spoke openly about his plans for the coming year. Rather than continuing his usual professional routine, Ahad said he wants to step back, spend more time with his family and enjoy a break from the demands of his career.
“Bro, I’m taking next year off anyway. Let me tell everyone right now, let me get you ready for it. Next year, I am off,” Ahad said during the live session.
The actor made it clear that his planned break will extend beyond acting projects. According to Ahad, he intends to stay away from the limelight altogether and even take a break from Instagram. He jokingly described the decision as a kind of “semi-retirement,” giving fans an idea of just how seriously he intends to disconnect from his public life.
The announcement naturally came as a surprise, particularly because Ahad still has several projects associated with his name. His upcoming work includes Cafe Firaaq, in which he stars alongside Yumna Zaidi, while his Netflix project Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo is also among the projects audiences are waiting to see.
