Pakistani entertainment is inching closer to a historic moment as Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, Netflix’s first major Pakistani original series, moves into the final stages of post-production. The highly anticipated drama is now nearing completion, with industry insiders suggesting that audiences around the world could finally see the project arrive on the streaming platform by the end of 2026.
According to reports, acclaimed producer Momina Duraid is personally overseeing the final editing process as the series enters its last phase of post-production. With the finishing touches now underway, preparations are also being made for an extensive promotional campaign that is expected to begin before Netflix officially announces the premiere date.
The ambitious project was commissioned by Netflix MENA (Middle East and North Africa) and adapts Farhat Ishtiaq’s beloved 2013 Urdu novel Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo. Ever since the adaptation was announced, it has generated enormous excitement among fans who have long hoped to see the bestselling novel brought to life on screen. The series is also being viewed as a major milestone for Pakistan's entertainment industry, marking one of its most significant collaborations with a global streaming giant.
Filming for the drama has taken place across several breathtaking international destinations, including Italy, the United Kingdom, and multiple scenic locations throughout Pakistan.
