Javed Sheikh on Emraan Hashmi’s Rudeness
During the shoot of *Jannat* in South Africa, Javed Sheikh encountered Emraan Hashmi for the first time. When they met, Hashmi shook hands but turned his face away in an indifferent manner, which Sheikh found disrespectful. The moment stuck with him, but rather than confronting the actor directly, he decided to respond in his own way.
Later, when the crew suggested that Sheikh go to Hashmi for rehearsals, he declined. Instead, he insisted that Hashmi come to him. This subtle yet impactful move not only established his presence but also ensured that his self-respect remained intact. It was Sheikh’s way of asserting himself without creating any conflict on set.
