Pakistani actor Zahid Ahmed has found himself at the center of a heated online storm after his recent remarks about social media influencers went viral. During a podcast appearance, the Ishq Zahe Naseeb star made a controversial claim that “all influencers will go to hell,” which immediately triggered outrage across digital platforms. Facing massive backlash, Zahid has now come forward with an apology one that has social media talking once again.
The controversy began when Zahid, in conversation with Ahmed Ali Akbar, criticized the growing influence of social media and those who use it to gain fame. Referring to content creation as “the devil’s work,” the actor suggested that influencers were contributing to moral decay
Prominent digital personalities, including Adnan Zafar (Ken Doll), quickly hit back, calling Zahid’s statement judgmental and hypocritical. They questioned how an industry veteran could condemn others so harshly while enjoying the same platforms for his own visibility.
