Ali Zafar And Yami Gautam: Cross-Border Romance?
Ali Zafar, the prince of pop and now, perhaps one of the most sought after young guys in the Bollywood is in the news and not too surprisingly it’s once again about him being cast in another up-coming Bollywood flick.
It is almost a decade long struggle for Ali which is finally paying him off as he is now seen spending more of his time in India pursuing his career as an actor in Bollywood, which is regarded as one of the biggest Film industries of the world.
Ali stepped into Bollywood with satirically-pun oriented Tere Bin Laden and moved on to Mere Brother Ki Dulhan where he was seen with some A-list actors from across the border that really made him a household name in India. His last appearance was in London Paris New York which might not be that successful as his earlier projects but he certainly continued to make his presence felt in Bollywood.
The recent news is that Ali Zafar has been cast opposite Yami Gautam of Vicki Donor fame in a movie that is going to be directed by E. Niwas. The story line is said to revolve around one of the most favorite subjects of sub-continent: Cross border love, where Ali will be seen playing the role of a Pakistani boy and Yami, an Indian girl who fell in love with a Pakistani lad.
Although the title of the film is still un-decided, it is said to be in production phase. And we can expect it to hit the cinemas probably by the mid of next year.
This Pop icon of Pakistan has got some special magnetism to his personality that fits him so well with all the leading ladies of the industry. And Yami is no exception to it, who with her charming looks was much hailed for her performance in the Vicky donor.
Ali is surely having a high ride as far as Bollywood is concerned. Even back home, he doesn’t miss out any chance to appear in any advertisement and ensure his screen presence here also as he is once again seen in a recently released cellular TVC with Nargis Fakhri of Rockstar fame.
With so much happening at Ali’s end, we wish him all the best of luck for his budding acting career.
