How Much Did Nida Yasir’s Wedding Cost 22 Years Ago?
Extravagant weddings have become the norm today, with many people competing to outspend each other on lavish displays of wealth. However, morning show host Nida Yasir got married 22 years ago, when weddings were simpler and less expensive.
A clip from Nida’s interview with actor Faisal Qureshi has gone viral on social media, where he asks her about the cost of her wedding to director Yasir Nawaz.
“There was a time when fans loved watching wedding content on morning shows, but that trend has changed a lot now,” Nida explained. She also mentioned that she has been hosting morning shows for more than 15 years.
“My wedding included only three events, and it was still grand and luxurious,” she said. “The Milad and Mayon were held on the same day, followed by Mehndi and barat ceremonies later.”
Nida added, “It’s been 22 years since my wedding, and I spent one million rupees on the three ceremonies, while Yasir handled the entire Walimah.”
Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz, who married in 2002, are now parents to three children.
