Adnan Sami, who was excited & thrilled about the launch of his new musical album “Press Play”. However, he got the shock of his life today after knowing that his new album was leaked over internet. The album was set to be released at the end of January by the Universal Music India.
The following post appeared on his facebook page today:
“ Dearest Friends…My Album “PRESS PLAY” HAS BEEN LEAKED on The NET!!! Saying that putting an album together is hard work, is an understatement. I am deeply saddened and angry that this has happened. It is not just me who is a victim of the crime but also the team that has helped me put the album together. I sincerely request my fans and all music listeners NOT to download unauthorized copies of the album and tracks online & get it from Legitimate Sites."
The label is equally disturbed about this situation; MD of Universal Music India Devraj Sanyal added his comments by saying: “ It is very infuriating to deal with this situation that hasn’t happened ever here. ”
The label as a counter measure pushed for an immediate digital release across partners as soon as possible to make immediate profits.
