Ali Raza Offered Role by Indian Production House

Ali Raza, an emerging star, revealed he received an acting offer from Bollywood’s renowned production house, Yash Raj Films (YRF).

The casting team contacted him on Instagram, asking him to audition for a scene from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, originally performed by Ranbir Kapoor. Ali submitted his audition, which was well-received, and YRF invited him to Kolkata for further discussions.

However, plans were put on hold when YRF discovered that Ali was from Lahore and a Pakistani national. While expressing disappointment, the production house assured Ali they would consider him for future overseas projects. Ali, known for performing in Mohabbat Gumshuda Meri, Noor Jahan, and Duniyapur, is swiftly making a name in the entertainment industry. His latest drama, Iqtidar, is receiving high ratings, solidifying his status as a rising star in Lollywood.

Who is Ali Raza?

Ali Raza, a well-known model and emerging actor, quickly carved out his place in showbiz. He began his modeling journey in 2018 with a successful still shoot for photographer Waqas Liaqat. The shoot’s success led to modeling opportunities with top designers like Humayun Alamgir, Waleed Peerzada, Emran Rajpoot, and Munib Nawaz. Ali also appeared in ads and modeled for major brands including Outfitters, Pepsi, Lays, Nestle, Cambridge, Jazz, Hushpuppies, Sapphire, and Samsung. He completed a one-year diploma in Graphic Design, pursued higher education at FC College, and later earned a degree in Arts and Design from Punjab University.

Ali debuted in acting with the drama Bhool Ja Ay Dil in 2020. Currently, he’s showcasing his talent in the serial Meesni, with another drama, Mohabbat Gumshuda Meri, set to air soon. Recently, Ali also signed a contract with Yash Raj Films, hinting at an exciting debut on the big screen soon.
