She pointed a finger at her former mother-in-law, Maryam Nawaz, alleging that the invasion of their privacy played a big role in the breakdown of her marriage.
A Loss of "Sukoon" in Marriage
Ayesha Saif began by quoting the Holy Quran, emphasizing the importance of a peaceful and harmonious life between a husband and wife. She expressed her belief that wealth and other material comforts, while significant, couldn't replace the essential peace, or "Sukoon," that should be an integral part of a marriage. Ayesha regretfully stated that this peace had been missing from her life since she tied the knot with Junaid Safdar, which ultimately led her to seek a divorce.
She further indicated that she was relieved to have obtained a divorce and was eager to start her life afresh, free from the turbulence that had marked her marriage to Junaid.
