Recently, taking to Instagram, Fatima Effendi revealed how depression brought her closer to Allah. She wrote, “The little munchkin in my arms is my sunshine Allah SWT blessed me with. For the past 6 months I have been in isolation and hibernation mode because of severe postpartum depression and only Allah pulled me out of it and the man beside me has been my support. All my life, I was introduced to a God who was ready to punish me if I am not a perfect Muslim but then I met Al Wadud, Al Barr, Al Lateef, Al Wali, Ar Rehman, Ar Raheem. He accepts me with my flaws, no one in this world loves you like Him. Be Kind to people and He will love you with all your flaws. Need duas for my Azneera”
