Former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has publicly responded to allegations made by his ex-wife, Sannia Ashfaq, issuing a strong statement on social media in which he warned that he may pursue legal action if the public criticism continues.
The latest development in an ongoing dispute between the former couple, which has unfolded across social media over recent months. During that time, Sannia Ashfaq has made a series of allegations against Wasim while also directing criticism toward his current wife, Nyla Raja.
“I divorced you for my own reasons, and that chapter of my life is over. My life, my wife, and my family are no longer your concern. My wife has nothing to do with any issues between you and me. She came into my life after I had already divorced you, so stop dragging her into something she was never a part of.” Wasim wrote.
“It’s time you accept that reality, focus on your own life, and stop creating public drama on a daily basis. This is the last time I will be addressing this publicly.” He penned down.
Wasim also said it was time for both parties to move on with their lives and described his post as the final time he intended to address the matter publicly. He further warned that if the public comments continued, he would consider taking legal action.
