Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar clarified that his marriage to Faysal Qureshi’s ex-wife was not linked to her previous relationship. He emphasized that he had little connection with her prior to their marriage and that their marriage was independent of Faysal’s marital issues. Qamar revealed that he had, in fact, tried to mediate between Faysal and his ex-wife to save their marriage but was told by Faysal’s mother that the divorce was inevitable. This, he explained, absolves him of any role in their separation. He also pointed out that at the time, he was not financially stable, questioning the basis of rumors suggesting his involvement in the divorce.
