Pakistani actress Komal Aziz opened up about the harsh reality of jealousy and bad advice from people close to you. Speaking on ARY Digital’s “Good Morning Pakistan”, she shared, “When you’re young, you make a mistake as you think the world is just like you.
But that’s not true.” She went on to explain, “Don’t expect everyone to see you the way you see yourself. I’ve noticed female friends are often told not to talk too much to boys just because they’re girls.”
Komal added, “Girls share so much with friends—about their jobs, marriages, everything. But even your friends or sisters can feel jealous and give you wrong advice. I didn’t realize this when I was younger.” She also noted how rare kind people are: “People who don’t put others down are hard to find. Fazila Qaiser is one of those few good ones.”
Co-guest Aiman Khan also chimed in, saying, “I used to struggle with saying ‘no’ to anyone. It becomes a habit, and later it causes so many problems.” She added, “I had to build up a lot of courage to change that. Sometimes I succeeded, but there are still times I can’t say ‘no’.”
Komal Aziz has made a name for herself with her versatile and memorable work in Pakistani dramas. Some of her best roles include her standout performances in “Ishqiya,” where she played the feisty and complex character Hamna, and “Mushk,” where she won hearts as the determined and emotional Guddi. She also shined in “Tera Yahan Koi Nahin,” showcasing her ability to tackle both intense and lighthearted scenes with ease—solidifying her status as a talented actress loved for her authenticity on screen.
