Rakhi Sawant has once again managed to put herself at the centre of a reality TV conversation, this time with Pakistan’s Tamasha. The Indian reality TV personality recently said she would love to enter the Pakistani show if it were ever filmed in Dubai, even joking that she would make “the whole world go mad.” Her comments have now received an interesting response from Tamasha host Adnan Siddiqui, who admitted that having Sawant inside the house would be a dream.

Speaking on Maliha Rehman’s Gloss Etc podcast on Sunday, Siddiqui was asked whether he could actually handle Sawant if she became part of the show. His answer was cautious but clearly amused. He acknowledged that getting her onto a Pakistani reality show would be “very difficult” under the current circumstances, but there was little doubt in his mind that her arrival would make things considerably more entertaining.

Sawant has built a reputation for bringing an unpredictable energy to reality shows, while Tamasha thrives on personalities being locked together under one roof. Put the two together and there would hardly be a quiet day in the house.

Siddiqui also made it clear that Sawant’s interest in Tamasha should not be viewed as an isolated compliment. According to the host, the show has been attracting viewers in India since its very first season. Now that the Pakistani reality series has reached its fifth season, he said the team has started noticing more reactions and reviews coming from across the border.

One moment that particularly stayed with him was a phone call from veteran Indian comedian Johnny Lever. Siddiqui recalled that Lever personally reached out to tell him he was doing a great job. For the actor, that kind of recognition meant a lot because it showed that the show was being noticed beyond Pakistan.

He also remembered reading a comment from an Indian viewer who praised the name Tamasha, saying it perfectly described the spectacle unfolding inside the house. The viewer had apparently just started watching and was planning to go back and watch the earlier seasons as well. Siddiqui said comments like that make him feel proud because they show the programme has managed to connect with an audience outside its home country.

Tamasha itself follows a reality-show format that has become familiar to viewers around the world. The concept comes from the Dutch series Big Brother, which has been adapted in numerous countries. India’s version is Bigg Boss, hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, while Siddiqui has taken on the role of the “Badshah Salamat” in Pakistan’s Tamasha.
