Actor and model Huma Saleem has made serious allegations against an unnamed Pakistani cricketer, claiming she endured months of harassment, emotional abuse and intimidation. The actress shared a series of emotional Instagram Stories in which she accused the individual of repeatedly disturbing her life even after she had cut off all contact.
Without revealing the cricketer's identity, she described him as a "cheat, fraud and womaniser" and said she decided to speak publicly after reaching what she called her breaking point. According to the actress, the situation escalated on the day she shared her statement, prompting her to finally address the matter.
Saleem claimed she has not been in contact with the cricketer for the past two months, but alleged that every time she attempted to move on with her life, he would find ways to mentally disturb and intimidate her. She said the latest incidents involved threats and harassment, leaving her with no choice but to speak out.
The actress also stressed that no woman would willingly put herself through public scrutiny unless the circumstances became unbearable. She suggested that remaining silent was no longer an option after what she described as repeated emotional distress.
In her statement, Saleem further alleged that the harassment extended beyond her personal life. She claimed the cricketer contacted members of her family as well as her professional circle in an attempt to damage her reputation. According to her, colleagues connected to her work were also approached, something she believes was intended to affect her career.
