Television host and comedian Tabish Hashmi is making his cinematic debut in Aag Lagay Basti Mein, shifting from his popular comedy talk show to the big screen.
Hashmi, best known for hosting the comedy talk show, has built a reputation for his quick wit and conversational style, interviewing many of the country’s leading political, cultural and entertainment figures. Before entering mainstream television, he performed stand-up comedy, gaining recognition for his natural comic timing.
The upcoming film also marks actor Fahad Mustafa’s return to cinemas. Aag Lagay Basti Mein is Mustafa’s first production venture, in which he stars opposite Mahira Khan. The project has generated interest not only for its leading cast but also for Hashmi’s transition from television hosting to acting.
