Sahir Lodhi has always been a fascinating figure in Pakistan’s entertainment industry. An anchor, actor, and entrepreneur, he is known for living unapologetically on his own terms, whether it earns him admiration or criticism. Recently, in a conversation, he opened up about a deeply personal part of his life that many were unaware of: his unusual yet heartfelt connection with graveyards.
The star revealed that he often visits a cemetery in Malir, Karachi, located near his home. But it’s not during the day that he finds himself there, it’s in the stillness of the night, usually between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. For Sahir, these late-night visits aren’t eerie; they are a source of serenity. Away from the chaos of daily life, the graveyard becomes his sanctuary, a quiet space where he prays and reflects.
Sahir shared the story of a dear friend with whom he had shared over three decades of companionship. When his friend passed away, Sahir was present at the burial. Since that day, visiting his friend’s resting place has become a routine, an act of remembrance, loyalty, and prayer.
