At just 24, veteran actress Hina Dilpazeer faced the challenges of being a single mom while managing her career.
On Ayesha Omer’s show, Hina shared her experience of life after divorce, explaining how her son, Mustafa, became her biggest source of support.
"I married at 18, and had a son. But by the time I was 24, I got divorced. Mustafa was just three years old," she said.
She recounted explaining her work to Mustafa, saying, “He was very young, so I’d tell him I’m going for a shoot, and he’d sit and watch cartoons. Sometimes, I’d take him to the set, showing him the work I do. Mustafa has been such a big help, and I’m deeply grateful to him.”
Hina credits her son for being her pillar of strength, making her journey as both a single mother and a successful actress an inspiration for many.
Throughout her career, Hina starred in films like Natasha, Shaan-e-Ishq, 7 Din Mohabbat In, The Donkey King, Parey Hut Love, Money Back Gurantee, and Chaa Jaa Re, as well as popular dramas such as Burn Road Ki Nilfar, Yeh Zindagi Hai, Nadaaniyaan, Bulbulay, and Mithu Aur Aapa.
Earlier, Hina appeared on Iffat Omar’s digital show Say It All with Iffat Omar, where she candidly discussed her divorce, raising her son alone, coping with stress, and the possibility of finding love again.
Hina shared how her love marriage ended in divorce after a few years, as differences grew between her and her husband. She revealed that her husband divorced her in anger when their son was just three. Life after separation was difficult for Hina, especially due to societal stigmas, with people refusing to let divorcees sit near brides in the '90s.
Despite the challenges, Hina found solace in work and raising her son, never feeling the need to seek love again.
