Pakistani actress Uzma Tahir has launched a strong critique against actor Danish Taimoor, explicitly labeling him as “arrogant” during a recent, wide-ranging interview that delved into on-set dynamics and power structures within the entertainment industry.
Expanding on her observations of actor behavior, particularly regarding the treatment of production staff and junior colleagues, Uzma Tahir revealed that she has largely stepped back from television dramas over the past decade. She contrasted the current environment with the hierarchical culture of the past, recalling a time when senior actors would not even permit newcomers to sit near them. She lamented that such divisive practices persist today, citing the common occurrence of separate meal arrangements for senior artists versus the general crew—a visible symbol of inequality on set.
When the conversation turned specifically to Danish Taimoor, Uzma Tahir did not hold back. She expressed her belief that the actor has developed a noticeable “attitude” over the years. Reflecting on his journey, she noted that individuals often enter the industry from humble beginnings but undergo a significant shift in perspective once they achieve stardom. She argued that people can forget their early struggles, and she urged for greater humility, emphasizing that success should not erase respect for former colleagues and those who work behind the scenes.
