Faisal Qureshi, a prominent figure in the Pakistani entertainment industry, has expressed his views on the revival of the film industry in Pakistan in a recent interview with Independent Urdu. Despite his strong sense of patriotism, Qureshi advocates for the release of Indian films in Pakistan, emphasizing the potential positive impact on the local cinema landscape.

Reviving Cinemas Nationwide:

In his interview, Faisal Qureshi highlighted the desire of the Pakistani masses to watch Bollywood movies, asserting that allowing the screening of Indian films is crucial for revitalizing cinemas across the country. He contends that this move would not only cater to the entertainment preferences of the audience but also serve as a means to boost the struggling Pakistani film industry.

Qureshi’s stance challenges the existing ban on Indian films in Pakistan and underscores the need to reconsider this restriction. He argues that permitting the release of Indian movies is a pragmatic approach to generate revenue for the local industry, encouraging a more sustainable and flourishing cinematic environment.

By calling for the release of Indian films, Faisal advocates for an open-minded approach that prioritizes the interests of both filmmakers and audiences.
