Haroon, the singer of the famous 90s pop band ‘Awaz’ recently tied knot with Farwa Hussain. Since the wedding happened during lockdown, it was a small private ceremony. The announcement of Haroon and Farwa’s union came as a pleasant news during the pandemic, and fans started wondering about their love story.
In a recent Instagram post, Farwa revealed about how their relationship began:
‘In 2014, Haroon and I met for the first time. We were introduced to each other through a cousin of mine. After that, we stayed in touch on social media and the phone. We bumped into each other at different events a few times’
She further said that they made many plans but couldn’t get chance to meet properly as they were quite busy with their lives. However, they were fortunate enough in 2020 because Haroon managed to hang out with her and they both developed an immediate connection. Talking about how he proposed her, she said that he surprised her by confessing that he liked her all along. Farwa said that she was surprised and shocked in a happy way. She further wrote that she never felt that way and this was the time she knew that he was the one.
Haroon and Farwa tied the knot on 30th of June 2020 at the bride’s residence in Bani Gala, Islamabad. On the other hand Haroon also talked about his wedding and said that he never wanted to marry one as he was living a happy single life, but when he met Farwa he felt the desire to be married.
