Pakistani Drama ‘Tere Bin’ Set for Indian Remake on Colors TV
Pakistani dramas are popular worldwide, with some breaking records in recent years. “Tere Bin,” starring Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali, was a huge hit, even gaining popularity in India. However, due to some controversial storylines, there was an uproar from fans on both sides of the border, leading to changes in the plot.
Now, it seems that “Tere Bin” is set to be remade for the Indian audience by Ekta Kapoor, a well-known figure in Indian television. The remake will also be titled “Tere Bin” and will air on Colors TV. Some actors have already been chosen for key roles, with Kanika Mann and Ayesha Singh in talks to play the lead character, Meerab.
Given the cultural differences, it’s likely that the storyline will undergo some alterations, especially since the original plot involved a love story between cousins, which might not be acceptable in the Indian context. The remake is expected to hit screens in July 2024.
It will be interesting to see how the Indian version of “Tere Bin” is received by audiences, especially considering the success of the original in both Pakistan and India.
