Pakistan saw and enjoyed the Battle of the Bands Season 3 grand finale but what got rave response was Fawad Khan’s performance; he reprised a 2008 original song that he wrote and composed for drama serial ‘Satrangi’. This time the performance came with the biggest orchestra ever on the PBOB stage and it was quite a moment.
“I wrote Satrangi in 2008; that time it was a solo effort jo haath paon maar kay kiya,” Fawad introduced the song on the show. “We’ve now gotten a chance to perform this song; all these wonderful musicians have come together to help me perform this for you. I hope that you guys will like it. It’s in the genre of world music, it’s fusion and the song is all about togetherness and unity.”
