The conversation around Alpha has taken another turn after fake screenshots claiming that Pakistani actors Mahira Khan and Iqra Aziz praised the Indian film began circulating on social media.
The viral screenshots appeared to show both stars reacting positively to Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film. One fabricated post, attributed to Iqra Aziz, read, “Must watch movie guys. Our reply for Dhurandhar.” Another fake screenshot, using Mahira Khan’s name, stated, “Loved it. Finally old Bollywood which we grew up watching is back on track.”
However, social media users were quick to point out that the posts were not real.
Many users claimed the screenshots were created to suggest that Pakistani celebrities were supporting Alpha. Instead, the posts have added to the ongoing debate surrounding the film’s promotions.
