Television host and actress Nadia Khan has once again sparked debate on social media after sharing her candid opinion about Sajal Aly's performance in the hit drama Zanjeerain. A clip from her YouTube show has gone viral, with viewers divided over whether it was constructive criticism or an unnecessary jab at one of Pakistan's most celebrated actresses.
During the show, Nadia Khan discussed a scene in which Sajal Aly's character, Rabia, is seen trying to escape from danger. While reviewing the sequence, Nadia questioned the way the actress delivered her dialogue, suggesting that the emotions in the scene did not match the intensity of the situation.
According to Nadia, someone being chased and fearing for their life would naturally cry for help with urgency rather than in a composed tone. To illustrate her point, she mimicked Sajal Aly's delivery of the line, "Is anyone there?" and argued that the performance lacked the desperation expected from such a dramatic moment.
She further remarked that the character's body language and the visual tension of the sequence appeared disconnected from the softness of the dialogue delivery. Nadia also pointed out that another character in the scene, played by Danyal Zafar, was somehow able to hear the subdued call for help, something she found unrealistic.
Taking her criticism a step further, Nadia humorously imitated Sajal's voice once again, joking that the dialogue sounded more like someone peacefully sitting beside a stream than a woman desperately trying to escape a life-threatening situation.
