The enduring popularity of Pakistan's biggest music stars shows no sign of waning. For many ardent fans, the ultimate dream is to have their favorite singers perform live at milestone celebrations like weddings and receptions. It's little surprise, then, that some are willing to spare no expense to turn that fantasy into reality.

Leading the list of most coveted performers are legendary vocalists Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam. Renowned for their powerful stage presence, both artists have amassed enormous cross-border appeal, partly thanks to their numerous chart-topping hits for Indian films.

Their prestige is further cemented by performances at illustrious events, including weddings for the Ambani family. They are frequently flown to international destinations like Dubai to perform for affluent families celebrating abroad. This global demand is reflected in their staggering performance fees, which often become news headlines themselves. But what are the actual figures?

According to Pakistani journalist Naeem Hanif, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan commands approximately Rs 1.25 crore? for a wedding performance in Pakistan, with fees rising for other cities and reportedly doubling for international events.

Atif Aslam’s fees are even higher. Hanif notes that the singer once avoided private wedding events. The offer was accepted, and since then, his fee is said to range between Rs 2 to 2.5 crore? per performance.

Their journey to such elite status is deeply connected to their iconic work in Bollywood. Atif Aslam became the voice of a generation with romantic anthems like Woh Lamhe, Pehli Nazar Mein, Tu Jaane Na, and Dil Diyan Gallan. Meanwhile, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan brought a soulful, classical resonance to soundtracks with timeless hits such as Jiya Dhadak Dhadak Jaye, Teri Ore, Tum Jo Aaye, O Re Piya, and Jag Ghoomeya. Together, their musical legacy continues to fuel their unparalleled demand on the private event circuit.
