Veteran actress Bushra Ansari expressed heartfelt gratitude to fans for the overwhelming success of the drama, despite missing the final episode herself. She portrayed Shagufta in the series, which aired its last episode on November 5, 2024.

Reflecting on the show’s impact, Bushra shared her emotions in a recent YouTube vlog, explaining her bittersweet feelings about the end of Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. “Watching it made my heart happy and sad because I wasn’t there. But you all loved it so much,” she said, thanking fans for their support and acknowledging her co-stars Emmad, Fahad, Naeema, and Hania.

Bushra also shared a heartwarming story about her encounter with an Indian fan. “I went to a restaurant for dinner, and the girl serving us was smiling and a bit restless. She finally said, ‘You’re a Pakistani artist, we watched Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.’ She even took pictures with me. It feels good to know our work is appreciated across the border.”

She went on to praise the team behind Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, highlighting Farhat Ishtiaq’s unique storytelling and her own memorable collaboration with Javed Sheikh, which added to the project’s charm.

Bushra concluded with a powerful message on the universal appeal of quality content. “If there were no boundaries, our kids would be at the top right now. Content is what matters. People enjoy it when the story is good,” she reflected.
