Osman Khalid Butt is a versatile artist, excelling as an actor, choreographer, writer, and theatre director. He has starred in popular dramas like "Aun Zara," "Diyar-e-Dil," and "Ehd-e-Wafa." Although fans love to see him on screen, he selectively chooses roles based on the content's quality.
Recently, Osman was a guest on Tabish Hashmi’s show, where he shared touching memories of his late mother. Osman revealed that his mother was French, while his father was a Kashmiri from Punjab, and the family resided in Lahore. He spoke about how his mother adapted to life in a Punjabi joint family and the challenges she faced in her new environment.
Initially, Osman's mother knew only a little Urdu. Upon realizing that her in-laws spoke about her in Punjabi, she decided to learn the language to communicate with them directly. She was a resilient woman who prioritized her family and education. Demonstrating her commitment, she established a French school in Pakistan. Tragically, she passed away in 2006, which was a significant loss for the entire family. She was deeply cherished not only by her children and husband but also by her in-laws.
