Sarwat Gilani, a renowned actress, artist, and activist, is known for her outspoken nature and selective approach to her work. Over the past few years, she has been choosy with her television roles, preferring quality over quantity. Married to Dr. Fahad Mirza, the couple has three children and is well-regarded for their beautiful family life and their awareness of political and social issues.
Recently, Sarwat Gilani came under fire for a well-intentioned act that sparked controversy. As the summer temperatures soared, she decided to help her household staff feel more energetic by providing them with vitamin drips. This gesture was something she also did for herself to combat the extreme heat.
However, not everyone appreciated her actions. Despite her good intentions, Sarwat faced criticism from both the public and medical professionals. Many people took to social media to voice their disapproval, arguing that the use of vitamin drips for her househelp was unnecessary and potentially harmful.
Doctors joined in the criticism, pointing out that administering vitamin drips without medical supervision can be risky. They emphasized that a balanced diet and adequate hydration are generally sufficient for maintaining energy levels and health, even during hot weather. The use of intravenous vitamins, they argued, should be reserved for specific medical conditions and prescribed by healthcare professionals.
