Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi produce Mannat Murad for Geo Entertainment. They appointed Nadia Akhtar as the writer and Syed Wajahat Hussain as the director. The talented cast comprises Iqra Aziz, Talha Chahour, Irsa Ghazal, Ali Safina, Rabya Kulsoom, Uzma Hassan, Mizna Waqas, Sachal Afzal, Sana Nadir, and Rehma Zaman.

The premiere episode of Mannat Murad on Tuesday impressed the audience, creating a solid impact. Additionally, Iqra Aziz’s delighted fans can rejoice as the actress stages a splendid comeback after a long break. Despite having limited screen time in the first episode, Iqra Aziz, portraying the title character of Mannat, exudes glamour and confidence.

The Story of Drama Serial Mannat Murad

Mannat Murad depicts the challenges Mannat (Iqra Aziz) and Murad (Talha Chahour) face in finding love. The first episode reveals Razia Sultana’s (Irsa Ghazal) overpowering control over her children. Later, she prioritizes her son and neglects her daughters. In addition, Razia Sultana safeguards her son from perceived threats, opposing love marriages. She even prevents her elderly daughter from marrying someone she loves. As a result, her controlling behaviour strains her relationship with her other daughters. One daughter is married to a man she dislikes, while another is burdened with household chores due to her unfavourable attitude.

Murad, despite restrictions, grows fond of a girl who drops her earrings in the elevator. His controlling mother suffocates him by overreacting to small things. Notably, as a widow, Razia Sultana has devoted her life to her children. Therefore, she expects Murad to prioritize her over his wishes when choosing a bride. However, a caring brother, Murad sacrifices his dreams for his unmarried elder sister’s happiness.

In contrast, Mannat, a university graduate who is victorious, confident, and stunning, fearlessly confronts workplace harassment by acting against a mysterious late-night caller. Mannat’s impeccable style and bold and courageous nature inspire those around her.

Viewer’s Response

Viewers responded positively to the drama, appreciating its promising start. Iqra Aziz’s fans rejoiced as they witnessed her comeback after Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3. The audience also admired Talha Chahour’s performance. Furthermore, fans loved the chemistry between Irsa Ghazal and Talha Chahour’s characters in the drama.
