Nida Yasir, the reigning queen of morning television and host of Good Morning Pakistan, recently touched on a subject that left social media buzzing how some women expertly "control" their husbands, and do so without conflict or confrontation. Known for her candid tone and engaging celebrity-filled episodes, Nida yet again delivered a moment that blended light-hearted banter with striking social insight.
In a conversation that featured actress Vaneeza Ahmed, actor Faizan Sheikh, and a psychologist, the topic turned to creating harmony in married life. Nida shared that some women, often seen as having “their husbands under control,” have in fact simply mastered the art of reading their spouse’s psyche.
“They don’t dominate,” Nida explained. “They understand they read their husband's mind, his behaviour and when they do, they end up holding a gentle form of power.” She humorously cited a real-life example where a woman’s husband praised her utterly tasteless food not because of the flavor, but because the emotional connection outweighed the palate.
