Nida Yasir has shared a rather unexpected conversation involving actor and doctor Fahad Mirza, the husband of Sarwat Gilani, while discussing parenting and family planning on her morning show.
The longtime host of Good Morning Pakistan recently welcomed Sarwat Gilani to the show, where the conversation revolved around parenting and the challenges that come with raising children. A panel of psychologists also joined the discussion as the women spoke openly about family life.
During the conversation, Nida brought up a piece of advice she had received from Fahad Mirza and admitted that it had even influenced her husband, actor and director Yasir Nawaz, for a while.
Nida revealed that Fahad had encouraged her and Yasir to consider having more children even after the birth of their third child, Balaaj. According to Nida, Fahad would jokingly encourage the couple to have a son and even referred to having an “Alpha.”
The host recalled Fahad's argument that attractive and financially comfortable people should have more children. His comments apparently came up repeatedly, including when Sarwat was expecting a child herself.
Nida said Fahad's enthusiasm for the idea eventually started influencing Yasir Nawaz, who began paying more attention to the suggestion. However, Nida made it clear that she was not convinced.
