Syeda Tuba Anwar, one of Pakistan’s rising television stars, has recently opened up about the constant wave of criticism and unfair targeting she faces on social media. The actress, who made her acting debut in 2021 and has since won praise for performances in Bharras, Baby Baji, Muhabbat Satrangi, and most recently Mohra and Pal Do Pal, addressed the negativity during her appearance on Geo TV’s podcast hosted by Mubashir Hashmi.
Speaking candidly, Tuba Anwar revealed that while the public has often been quick to comment on her personal life, she deliberately chooses not to respond. “I have never addressed criticism about my private matters because I don’t feel the need to,” she explained. “Silence does not mean I was wrong; it means I value my peace of mind. I prefer to restore my inner balance first and then face people, rather than getting dragged into negativity.”
She also emphasized that her family remains her top priority, and she only shares personal experiences when they may benefit others particularly when discussing mental health and depression. According to Tuba, safeguarding her family’s understanding of her character is more important than entertaining baseless online judgments.
