Hamza Ali Abbasi Says He Doesn’t See Himself as a Born Muslim

Hamza

Renowned Pakistani actor and host Hamza Ali Abbasi recently shared in a podcast that he identifies as a conscious Muslim rather than a born Muslim.

Abbasi openly shared insights into his personal life and beliefs, explaining that although born into a Muslim family, his current faith stems from a conscious decision to understand and practice Islam. He revealed that his study of various religions led him to choose Islam, finding it the most logical and spiritually fulfilling.

Acknowledging that he isn’t a religious scholar, Abbasi practices and shares aspects of Islam that he finds intellectually and spiritually authentic. His journey to understanding religion, he explained, was driven by his curiosity about the world, the afterlife, and the concept of accountability, rather than any major life event.

Abbasi emphasized that simply being born into a Muslim family doesn’t suffice; he believes one should consciously engage with and understand Islamic teachings, which is why he explored multiple religions before fully embracing Islam.
