Iffat Omar Admits: ‘I Never Denied My Affairs’

Former supermodel Iffat Omar opened up about her past relationships, modeling journey, and advocacy for women’s empowerment during her appearance on the Aik Naya Zaviya podcast with Haroon Rafique.
“I never denied my affairs or scandals,” Omar admitted, adding that her relationships remained private because they involved non-public individuals.
Reflecting on her modeling career, she shared a life-changing moment from her school days: “A female journalist took my photos at a program, which were published in Jang. I received a modeling offer, and I accepted.”
Discussing her marriage, Omar revealed she met her husband through a friend and played a decisive role in their union: “Our relationship grew, and I pressured him into marriage.”
She also addressed misconceptions about her personal life, rejecting the label of a “divorced feminist.”
Highlighting the need for women’s empowerment, Omar emphasized: “True freedom and independence for women will come when they hold the majority of decision-making roles, including in parliament.”

Iffat Rahim, also known as Iffat Omar rose to fame as a successful Pakistani actress and model in the late 1980s and 1990s.
She earned two Lux Style Award nominations for Best TV Actress and received the PTV Icon Award in 2023 from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for her contributions to the media industry.
