Sania Saeed Confronts Disturbing Trend of Child Unkindness

Renowned Pakistani actress Sania Saeed, celebrated for her intelligence and compassion, recently shared her insights on various topics during a podcast appearance. Beyond discussions about her career and the challenges the entertainment industry faces, Sania talks about societal issues, shedding light on her film “Joyland” and the broader context of audience reception. Notably, the actress shared a thought-provoking perspective on the growing unkindness observed in children today.

Sania Saeed Addresses Growing Unkindness in Children

During the podcast, Sania Saeed candidly discussed a concerning aspect of contemporary society—the rising trend of unkindness among children. The actress expressed dismay over the increasing instances of animal cruelty perpetrated by youngsters; she highlighted distressing incidents where children, often the perpetrators, engage in pelting stones at dogs and other animals. Sania emphasized the urgent need for society to address this issue, attributing the children’s behavior to learned unkindness fostered by societal norms. Additionally, she called for a reconsideration of zoos, suggesting that they be shut down to prevent further perpetuation of such behavior.

Nurturing Empathy in the Next Generation

Sania Saeed identified the problem and urged parents and caregivers to take a proactive role in shaping their children’s behavior. She emphasized the importance of listening to children and fostering empathy at an early age. By addressing the root cause—societal influence—Sania advocated for a collective effort to instill kindness and compassion in the younger generation; her call to action resonates as a plea for a more empathetic society that nurtures values of kindness from childhood, ensuring a better future for both humans and animals.

Mahira Khan Shares How Son Azlan Inspired Her to Give Second Chance to Love

Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan has credited her son, Azlan, as the driving force behind one of the most personal and courageous decisions of her life—remarrying. Speaking on Ahmad Ali Butt’s podcast, the beloved actress peeled back the layers of fame to share a rare glimpse into the emotional journey that led her to take another chance on love.

“I was scared,” Mahira admitted. “Scared of what people would say, scared of what I might lose.” For an actress who has built a towering career on poise and strength, it was a striking confession. But in her vulnerability, she also revealed a deeply human side—one shaped by motherhood, public scrutiny, and the unpredictable tides of fame.

It was Azlan, her son from a previous marriage, who quietly yet firmly became her anchor. “He told me, ‘You deserve to be happy, Ammi.’” Those words, simple yet powerful, gave Mahira the permission she had denied herself for years. More than anything, she wanted her son’s acceptance—and she found not just approval, but encouragement.

Mahira also touched upon the importance of her new husband building an honest and heartfelt bond with Azlan. “I didn’t want it to be just a formality—I wanted it to be real,” she explained. Today, she says, she feels nothing but gratitude for the genuine connection that has blossomed between the two.

The podcast wasn’t all personal—Mahira also addressed her professional relationships and past controversies with refreshing honesty. She spoke fondly of her co-star Fawad Khan, praising his unshakable authenticity, and reflected on her previous clash with writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar. “I should’ve handled it differently,” she admitted, noting that her mother later reminded her of the importance of respectful discourse, especially with senior artists.

Touching upon criticism she faced from within the industry, including harsh remarks from veteran actor Firdous Jamal, Mahira confessed that such judgments used to hurt. But over time, she says, she has developed a thicker skin. “When success starts to shine too brightly, it unsettles some people,” she said thoughtfully.

Now, with her new film Lo Guru set to release on Eid-ul-Azha, Mahira is channeling her energy into global promotions across the U.S., proving that both love and career can coexist—not in conflict, but in harmony.
