During her appearance on Maliha Rehman’s show, Reham shared the inspiration behind the drama, discussed her character in depth, and revealed how she envisions her career moving forward.

When asked why “Parwarish” includes romance in the lives of such young characters, Reham Rafiq addressed the portrayal of relationships, such as Maya and Wali’s marriage discussions and Amal’s love for Wali. She explained that the drama intentionally shows how young people naturally go through such phases. According to Reham, falling in love is a normal part of growing up, and “Parwarish” treats it as such. She emphasized that this honest and realistic approach sets “Parwarish” apart from other dramas.

Reham Rafiq also opened up about the competitive environment that can develop among female actors on set. Without naming anyone, she revealed that some actresses often feel insecure if a co-star has better lines or delivers a stronger performance, which can lead to negativity. However, she expressed gratitude for the positive and supportive atmosphere on the set of “Parwarish”, where such competitiveness never surfaced. Reham added that she consciously avoids getting caught up in such emotions and focuses on her own growth as an actor.

Yet, it’s not a full reunion—major names like Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan, and Fawad Khan remain digitally inaccessible, and their absence continues to frustrate fans on both sides of the border.

Meanwhile, the revival isn’t limited to social media alone; popular YouTube channels broadcasting Pakistani drama serials—a beloved genre in India—have also been unblocked. It shows that once-dominated Indian watchlists are back, bringing with them nostalgia, emotion, and cross-border connection.

While the reappearance of some accounts signals softening restrictions, the digital curtain hasn’t lifted entirely. Still, for fans, it’s a step toward rekindling the shared love for art that transcends politics and borders.

Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, recently shared nostalgic memories of his youth, revealing how Javed Miandad’s iconic six during his first wedding day turned his joy into disappointment.

Aamir said he and Reena decided to secretly get married when he was 21 years old upon resistance from their families. He further shared that when they returned home after their secret wedding, a Pakistan-India cricket match was happening.

Both their families were engrossed in the match, so no one noticed their absence. The actor noted that this was the famous match in Sharjah where Javed Miandad hit a six on the last ball, leading to India’s defeat. Aamir said that since India was winning the match, he was thrilled, thinking his wedding day would be marked by India’s victory.

However, his happiness turned to disappointment when Javed Miandad hit the six on the final ball, causing India to lose. Aamir shared that he was deeply upset afterward and even mentioned this to Javed Miandad during a meeting.

He jokingly told him, “Javed Bhai, you didn’t do right to me!” Miandad, surprised, asked what he meant, Aamir replied, “You ruined my wedding because you hit that six on the last ball and I was terribly disappointed.”

For context, this match was played on April 10, 1986, in Sharjah, where Pakistan faced India. In the final over, Pakistan needed 10 runs off four balls and on the last ball, with four runs required, Javed Miandad hit a spectacular six off Chetan Sharma’s delivery, not only winning the match but also creating one of cricket’s most iconic moments.
