Zeeshan Ali Reveals “Sajna Da Dil Torya” Was Composed 10 Year Ago

“Sajna Da Dil Torya” is currently one of Pakistan’s top-trending songs, becoming an anthem for Mustafa and Sharjeena’s heartbreak in “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum”. Sung by Zeeshan Ali, the show’s second OST became a massive hit, with fans still singing this heartfelt song of heartbreak even though the series ended a week ago.

As the voice behind the song, Zeeshan Ali has solidified his place as one of Pakistan’s celebrated singers. For “Nescafe Basement” fans, Zeeshan was the voice behind “Tere Jeya Hor Disda”, a song that captured millions of hearts upon release. His recent collaboration with “Coke Studio” on “2 a.m.” is also a hit, and now “Sajna Da Dil Torya” is trending everywhere.

Zeeshan Ali gave an interview to Faridoon and revealed that “Sajna Da Dil Torya was actually made 10 years ago. Fahad Mustafa called him and wanted him to make a sad song. He made a few tracks but they were not sitting well with the story of Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. Later on, Zeeshan’s wife anchor Irza Khan reminded him about this track which was then approved by Fahad Mustafa. The song was not retouched by Fahad Mustafa’s team on Zeeshan Ali’s request and it was used as it was recorded 10 years back.”
