Maria B. donates Rs 10 million to support the people of Gaza

Renowned Pakistani fashion designer Maria B. has fulfilled her commitment to support the people of Gaza by donating Rs 10 million from her Falasteen collection to Al Abrar Wells, a non-profit organization focused on providing clean water, food, and humanitarian aid to conflict-affected regions.

This generous donation marks the first phase of Maria B.’s commitment to providing humanitarian aid to those affected by the ongoing crisis in Gaza. The funds will go towards building a water well, ensuring the community has access to clean drinking water.

In addition, the donation will fund various initiatives aimed at providing essential resources. The Falasteen collection was created specifically to raise funds for Gaza relief, highlighting Maria B.’s commitment to social responsibility and her support for marginalized communities.

In an Instagram video, Maria B. shared her satisfaction, announcing, “We fulfilled our promise! Maria B. has donated PKR 1 crore from the Falasteen collection to Al Abrar Wells for Gaza. This first installment will fund the construction of a water well, provide hot meals for 15,000 people, and supply fresh bread to our brothers and sisters in North and Central Gaza.”
