Why Did Sadia Imam Quit Acting?

Sadia Imam has revealed that she left the drama industry to focus on raising her daughter. Speaking on Dunya TV’s ‘Mazaq Raat’, she discussed her shift in priorities.

Now a full-time mother to her daughter Meerab, Sadia, who was a major name in the 90s and early 2000s, has given several hits and earned praise for her beauty, talent, and dedication to her craft.

After marriage, Sadia transitioned from acting, taking a break to focus on her family. While she still appears on shows and hosts morning programs, she shared that with both sets of her parents and in-laws no longer alive, she felt the responsibility to personally care for Meerab.

With her husband working in Germany, she chose to dedicate herself entirely to her daughter’s upbringing.

Sadia Imam was born in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. She is a Pakistani television presenter, actress, and model, appearing in commercials, dramas, and music videos.

Sadia has starred in several hit dramas, including Jab Jab Dil Miley, Colony 52, Dorhi, Tapish, Anokha Bandhan, Aangan Bhar Chandni, Koonj, and Aasman. As one of the most popular stars in the media today, she also models for renowned fashion houses.

Known for her striking presence on the ramp, Sadia is a talented actress who made a comic guest appearance on the popular ARY Digital drama Mai Aur Tum. Since returning from Germany, she has started working with GEO TV and HUM TV on upcoming serials and currently hosts the Samaa TV show Samaa Kay Mehmaan, where she interviews celebrities and notable figures from Pakistan.
