Omayr Waqar Exposes Sana Javed Over Her Relationships, Here’s What He Said

Omayr Waqar

Renowned Pakistani make-up artist and stylist Omayr Waqar  has styled nearly all the top actresses and models in the industry, earning fame for his flawless makeup and styling. He grabbed the spotlight in June 2021 during a controversial Q&A session where he openly discussed several celebrities he had worked with.

Omayr Waqar recently appeared on Ushna Shah’s talk show, After Hours with Ushna, where he made controversial remarks about a top Pakistani actress without directly naming her.

Omayr Waqar said, “Some actresses who fall in love become obsessive. There was this one actress—a big name in Pakistan—who got very angry at me. She started shouting just because I asked about her boyfriend, whom she was about to marry. I shared this story with someone else, another friend of hers, and she asked me if I had mentioned her boyfriend’s name. When I said yes, she said, ‘That’s why she got mad at you’. The actress was so obsessed with his boyfriend that even hearing his name from someone else would hurt her. She was that one obsessive case who was completely lost in love. I can’t comment on her marriage or current relationship, but yes, this happened to me.”

Social media users believe Omayr Waqar referred to Sana Javed, pointing out that she is the only actress he had a public feud with and even filed a legal case against him.

Turkish Influencer Sends Legal Notice to Maria B Over Unpaid Campaign Dues

Prominent Pakistani fashion designer Maria B is embroiled in a legal controversy as Turkish influencer Türkan Atay has served her a legal notice over allegedly unpaid dues from a campaign shoot held in Türkiye earlier this year. The incident has sparked a heated exchange online, drawing attention from both Pakistani and international social media users. The news has been widely discussed in the digital space, fueling growing scrutiny over the designer’s business practices.

Türkan Atay, popularly known as “Pakistani Bhabhi” due to her marriage to a Pakistani national, claims that she was contracted to oversee a shoot for Maria B’s 2025 fashion collection. According to Atay, the agreement was based on a per-outfit payment structure that included production costs, yet the brand allegedly defaulted by issuing a one-time lump sum payment that fell short of the agreed amount. The influencer has demanded $8,000 in dues, including compensation for legal expenses and emotional distress, and has called for a formal public apology.

To support her claims, Atay released what she says are screenshots of conversations with the brand’s PR manager, which appear to acknowledge an oversight in the payment terms. Despite her three-month-long effort to resolve the matter privately, Atay claims she was blocked by the designer and her team on social media platforms, prompting her to make the issue public through Instagram videos.

In response, Maria B dismissed the controversy as a misunderstanding caused by a junior member of her PR team. She argued that Atay had been offered full payment and even received outfits valued at a substantial amount. The brand has labeled Atay’s public statements as defamatory and insisted that they made several attempts to settle the matter amicably.

The legal notice, filed on April 24, accuses Maria B’s brand of causing reputational damage and financial losses to Atay through what she describes as false and harmful allegations. If the demands outlined in the notice are not met within seven days, Atay’s legal team has warned of potential legal proceedings, keeping the spotlight firmly on the unfolding dispute.

Maria B Breaks Silence After Turkish Influencer’s Non-Payment Allegations

Fashion designer Maria B has finally addressed the controversy surrounding Turkish influencer Turkan Atay, who recently accused the Pakistani fashion brand of withholding payment for a campaign. The issue came to light after Atay posted a reel on April 21, in which she shared screenshots of conversations with the brand’s PR manager and Maria B herself, alleging that her messages were ignored and later deleted.

In response to the growing backlash, the brand issued an official statement on its public platform, which was also reshared by Maria B on her personal account. The statement expressed regret over the situation and described it as a “misunderstanding” rather than a deliberate denial of payment. The brand maintained that they are committed to maintaining respectful and professional relationships with all collaborators, including creators and influencers.

“At Maria B, we have always valued our partnerships with creators, models, and influencers, and we take pride in conducting our business with integrity, transparency, and respect for the creative community,” the statement read. Addressing Atay’s claims specifically, the brand clarified that they had arranged a meeting to resolve the issue, but instead of following through, the influencer opted to go public with the matter.

Turkan Atay, however, claimed that multiple attempts were made by both her and her husband to reach the brand’s representatives, but they were met with silence. She also alleged that Maria B deleted her direct messages and accused the brand of disrespecting influencers. In her closing remarks on the reel, Atay emphasized that the issue was not just about money but about self-respect, saying she would no longer work with the brand.

The incident has ignited debate online, with many calling for greater accountability in how brands treat digital creators.

HSY Shares Insights On Who Should Avoid Wearing Farshi Shalwar

Hassan Sheharyar Yasin

Renowned fashion designer Hassan Sheharyar Yasin (HSY) recently appeared on a Ramadan transmission, sharing insights on the growing trend of the farshi shalwar. Contrary to restrictive fashion norms, HSY emphasized that this style is for everyone.

When asked who should avoid wearing it, he responded, “Everyone should wear it.” He explained that the farshi shalwar is an inclusive trend, allowing people to dress modestly while looking elegant. “Our women may come from different backgrounds, but they all have the same religion,” he said, adding that the garment does not reveal body curves.

Addressing concerns about pairing the shalwar with short shirts, he advised, “Wear it with a long shirt—it looks beautiful.” He suggested keeping the slit (chaak) just above the knee but adjusting it based on body shape.

HSY also shared practical tips, such as using georgette, chiffon, or thin silk for flowy shirts and opting for pure cotton for everyday shalwars. He even revealed a tailoring trick: “Adding a drawstring or embroidery at the hem helps it fall straight.”

Encouraging accessibility, he stated, “Fashion and looking beautiful is everyone’s right,” making it clear that style should be inclusive and tailored to individual needs.
