When asked about what he would never do in his life, Safina firmly responded, “I will never speak against Pakistan. It seems to have become fashionable these days to criticize everything about our country—whether it’s the establishment, politics, or even our achievements. We’ve sent a satellite into space, and instead of celebrating, people are quick to criticize. We’re deteriorating as a society by constantly judging and undermining our own progress.”
